![]() ![]() Overall, the game seems a bit unpolished because of its seemingly privately-funded nature, however it's definitely a game worth getting. The game itself is pretty versatile and gives a few guest appearances to some of the gods of metal, I won't spoil who, but let's just say that round sunglasses and a British drawl should be expected. There's a bit of an RTS aspect for some parts, which is going to turn some of you off, but it's not extremely limited, in fact it uses a pretty cool concept that you just have to roll with. The combat itself is a bit one note (har har), however it's not just a button masher. The storyline is a bit loose, but it does become engaging, especially with the amazingly hot transformation of Ophelia. The sound effects aren't bad, but they aren't terribly memorable either. The soundtrack to this game is a fantastic compilation of several decades of different metal bands. The graphics are a bit last gen, but that's just the style of the game. Normally I don't really like anything Jack Black does, but his performance in this game is really very good. I bought this game because I love metal and I was interested to see how it might be incorporated into a game. Fully Licensed Soundtrack - Brutal Legend will feature a fully licensed soundtrack that includes some of the greatest Metal and Rock and Roll songs ever assembled.
